Vacancy -Service engineer
Do you like to work in the open air, do you have technical insight and do you like to put your boots in the clay? We are immediately looking for a Service Engineer.
Service engineer
- 40 hours a week
- Hoogezand (you work throughout the Netherlands)
- 1 year contract with intention to extend
Due to the growth of our company, we are immediately looking for a driven service technician for the maintenance of our wind turbines. As a service technician, you perform approximately two inspections per day and resolve one or two malfunctions. You work at a height of 15 meters with an aerial work platform. You will have a large combination service bus and aerial work platform at your disposal.
In this position you are very independent and you get a lot of freedom. You go out daily to carry out maintenance on the wind turbines according to schedule and to remedy malfunctions on location at the customer. You work together with the fleet engineer. You work throughout the Netherlands (mainly in Groningen and Friesland) and sometimes in Northern Germany and Belgium. About once every three months you will be away from home for a number of nights. Every now and then you work in the workshop in Hoogezand to carry out revisions.
Activities and responsibilities
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of our mill
- Install new parts or replace old ones
- Repairing the wooden wicks
- Conducting a correct administration with regard to maintenance history (working digitally with a tablet)
Profile
- You have MBO working and thinking level, technical aptitude is an advantage
- You are service-oriented, in consultation with colleagues you ensure that problems are solved properly
- You are self-managing and critical of your own work
- You are meticulous, structured, eager to learn and like to think along with improvements
- You have experience driving machines
- You are not afraid of heights
- You like to work outside
- You are independent, representative and can deal well with customers
- You preferably live within a radius of 40 km around Groningen
